Description:More pictures of sweet Macy:
We are guessing that Macy is between 10-12 years old but this adorable girl still has the looks and energy of a younger dog. Sadly, her family of of many years surrendered Macy because they just didn’t want to be bothered with her anymore.
Macy is such an amazing girl. Even though she lived most of her life outside, she has decided that she loves being an indoor dog and she is doing absolutely fantastic in her new foster home. She has quickly has taken to being housetrained as though she always was and has even learned to knock on the door when she wants to come back in by watching her furry foster siblings. Macy doesn't have much any interest in going out (and who can blame her after living only outdoors) unless you're going with her so she holds "it" as long as she needs to.
Macy is a very well behaved and quiet gal who rarely barks. She likes just laying around the house but gets excited when you first get home, go for walks and when it's meal time. According to her foster mom she loves, loves, loves affection, whether giving it or receiving it. Macy adores going for rides! She is such a good girl! She lays or sits calmly in the back seat for however long the ride is; she also loves to go for her morning and evening walks with her foster family. Macy gets along great with cats, other dogs, children and adult humans.
Since she is an older dog we are giving her a Glucosamine supplement daily. She has slight spay incontinence and is taking a pill daily to easily and totally control it and she actually looks forward to it as a treat. Macy is otherwise in excellent health and will be, without a doubt, totally devoted to whoever is fortunate enough to have her as their new family member.
