My name is Abel,
I'm about 6 to 7 months old and I am the best kind of dog one could ever get, something the rescue calls a mix, but I think of myself as a proud All American Hunk. The humans here think I am mixed with Retriever and Shepherd, and maybe some Hound too because of my long, soft ears, but, whatever I am, I am a terrific boy! A little shy maybe, but I am coming around pretty quickly. I think that's because I now get regular chow (Yummy), love and attention and I know I am safe.
As you can see, I am a really handsome pup with neat black areas around my brown eyes, I have short golden hair and some white on my chest.
I like playing with the other puppies here, I like humans and I can't wait to find a new home with a family all of my own. The rumor among us pups here is, that having a family makes a dog real happy and I can't wait to be real happy.
