Princess is a beautiful black Lab mix with beautiful, captivating brown eyes. She is a grateful, happy, intelligent and active, athletic dog and would make a lucky someone a terrific jogging and/or hiking partner.

Princess is a dog park kind of dog! She loves the exercise and gets along well with dogs she does not know and quickly joins in the fun of running around and getting a fun game going. Not only does Princess love dogs, she also loves being around her human(s) and likes leaning against them. Given a chance, she will crawl up on your lap, but not until you give her permission to do so. She will then make herself comfortable in your lap. She enjoys keeping you warm and watching TV with you at snuggle time.

She also gets along well with children. She originally came from a family with four children, ages from barely walking to about 12 years old.

She still pulls a little when on leash but a gentle, firm hand and some simple training will take care of that easily. Since she is a fast learner and eager to please, Princess would excel at obedience training and/or Agility training.
She is very friendly to both people and other dogs encountered on her walks. Princess will let you know if someone is at the door, but does not tend to bark much at all.

When her foster took her for a visit with relatives with a cat, Princess seemed to ignore the inside cat completely, so it appears that given the right introduction she would be ok with them.

Because she gets along so well with other dogs, we think she will also be a perfect companion to any other dog already in the family.
