This handsome boy could be a poster boy for his breed - he's affectionate, eager to please, friendly, and comical - which is amazing since he spent his life up to this point at the end of a chain.  If that's not bad enough, his "family" moved away and just left him there, at the end of the chain.  He was eventually sent to a shelter in southern VA, where he was slated for euthanasia. but the Friends of Campbell County just couldn't let that happen to such a great dog, so they drove him five hours (one way) to bring him to us, and boy are we glad they did.

Blue Boy has never lived in a house so he is not housebroken, and we can't imagine anyone bothered training him in his former "home," but as we mentioned, he's eager to please and therefore very trainable.
